Miss Mosa Featured in Elle India
Some news we have been wanting to share. Elle India has published a feature on Miss Mosa, and we are still taking it in. You can read the full piece here: Inside Miss Mosa on Elle India.
A quick scroll through the Elle India feature
What the feature covers
The article traces how Miss Mosa began in 2016, when Akanksha and Jayant, a sister and brother from Gurugram, set out to build a fashion label for Indian women who wanted trend forward western wear without the import price tag. It follows the journey from those early days to where we are now: a catalogue of more than 5,000 styles across dresses, co-ords, tops, resortwear and more, and a community that has grown past a million strong.
It also looks at how we work behind the scenes. How trends move from the global runway and your feeds into our design studio, how quickly a new silhouette goes from sketch to your wardrobe, and why staying direct to consumer lets us keep most styles accessible. And yes, it touches on the moments our pieces have been spotted on some of your favourite celebrities.
A line we keep coming back to
Speaking to Elle about how the modern Indian woman shops, our founder and creative director Akanksha said, “Indian women are dressing for more lives now.” That single line is the whole reason Miss Mosa exists. Work, brunch, travel, festivals, nights out. You are living more lives than ever, and your wardrobe should keep up with every single one of them.
This one belongs to you
A feature in Elle India is a milestone for our team, but honestly, it belongs to our community. Every order, every review, every reel you tagged us in built this brand. Thank you for making a homegrown label from Gurugram part of your story.
